The Madden 25 coins: The Movie video depicts the game of professional football as an (fake) movie. The hilarious video features NFL stars Rob Gronkowski, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, and Colin Kaepernick as film heroes. Kaepernick portrays the role of Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman for an unknown reason.
Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan is included in the five-minute video, sporting his game day dress, and accompanied by actor Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. It's a truly stunning amazing sight to see; check the video below.
It's likely that you'll notice the fact that this video, just like last year's, doesn't contain much in terms of actual gameplay, or even a discussion regarding Madden NFL 25, which has new additions. This was deliberate.
"You're not likely to reach new audiences with a special feature." EA Sports vice president of global markets Anthony Stevenson explained last year.
"You're likely to reach new customers by providing them with what they're most enthusiastic about and that is sports, competition and the celebrities they admire in the realm of creativity," he said. "If you can convince people to discuss your brand, and to discuss your product positively and ultimately, that's likely to result in sales."
Madden NFL 25 is scheduled to launch on August 16th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Xbox One owners with an EA Access membership can start playing the full game now. It took just a few minutes to discover a hilarious bug that makes players berate the air.
In preparation for the forthcoming NFL year, Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is playing video games. After minicamp ended this week, Bridgewater didn't have a team to play with in real life and he resorted to video games. He told ESPN that he ported the Vikings playbook into the Madden NFL game to help him prepare for his first game.
"It is beneficial because you can get one more repetition than you have in practice, or actual exercise," Bridgewater said. "Any chance to perform an extra rep, or go that extra step, the that extra mile, it's going be extremely beneficial in transferring it into on the field."
This isn't a shift in the pace for Bridgewater since he's done similar things in his college, incorporating his Louisville Cardinals' playbook to an upcoming NCAA Football game. As per the ESPN's Ben Goessling, New Orleans QB Drew Brees also uses Madden 25 coins for sale to prepare for the actual season.
