In Monopoly GO, 4 Corners scores only when your token lands on Go, Jail / Just Visiting, Free Parking, or Go to Jail; each landing gives four base points before the dice multiplier. While corner runs remain the in-game route, players facing a stalled partner chest can review Monopoly Go Partners Event as a separate option before spending more dice. Mid-board tiles do not add points to this scoring type.
The four landing rules
Go is the bottom-right corner, Jail / Just Visiting is bottom left, Free Parking is top left, and Go to Jail is top right. The score comes from landing on one of those spaces, not from passing near it or collecting rent elsewhere.
That distinction matters when a roll lands on a property, landmark, or other mid-board tile. Those spaces can still matter for rent or board progress, but they do not add 4 Corners points. A high rent from a corner property is not itself a Corners score either.
For the late-October 2026 Monster Mash Partners stretch, the stated window runs roughly from Oct. 21 at 20:00 to Oct. 26 at 19:59. The Oct. 23 fatigue complaints focused on the multi-day Corners stretch, so check the live event chip rather than assuming a remembered schedule is still active.
Spend dice only when a corner run makes sense
Keep the largest multiplier for a roll aimed at a corner approach instead of using it on a random mid-board stretch. Only four spaces score, so a big multiplier on a non-scoring landing can consume dice without moving the partner score. A corner approach is not a guaranteed hit; use a multiplier you can afford to lose if the roll lands elsewhere.
Before a high-multiplier attempt, check your shield reserve. A full reserve lowers the chance that a heist wipes out gains you just made, but it does not change which spaces score. Do not spend every shield or dice resource just to force one more attempt.
Late in the event, compare the remaining hours with the dice you would need for another run. If only a short part of the Corners stretch remains, a maximum multiplier may not repay its cost. Keep a small dice reserve for the final partner chest instead of emptying your supply on a cold run.
If an airplane- or teleport-style board helper is available, save it for a corner approach rather than mid-board cleanup. The point of using it here is to support a scoring landing, not to treat every movement as event progress.
Separate Corners points from partner rewards
Sticker and landmark spending does not count as Corners scoring. Builder's Bash and Sticker Boom may occur in the same week, but their rewards do not change the four-corner point rule. Keep those activities separate when judging whether your partner bar moved because of a landing.
Partner token gifts can help a shared chest keep moving while one side waits for corner hits. Prioritize partners who are also stuck on Corners days, and remember that gifts do not replace your own scoring landings. If a partner is offline, your own progress can still count toward the shared bar.
Use Main board > live event chip before a long session. Seeing 4 Corners there confirms which scoring rule to use; if the chip shows another event, stop spending dice as though corners still score. Take a screenshot of the chip if your group needs to compare which event was active.
After Corners rotates off, check the live chip again before carrying over the same multiplier habit, since a full-board event follows a different scoring pattern. For a separate event option, review buy Monopoly Go Racer Event, then confirm the active scoring type on the board before committing dice.
