SHANGHAI, China, 22 October 2026 — MPMC's BCH-275-200, a plug-and-play mobile storage-and-charging unit for electric vehicles and trucks, was among the most closely discussed products on the company's stand at the first phase of the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), held in Guangzhou from 15 to 19 October. Many visitors discussed energy storage and charging configurations in depth with the MPMC team.

The BCH-275-200 was shown in the fair's New Energy Resources section alongside a GSB-20-40 hybrid power station and an HBD-30-60R mobile battery storage system, part of seven MPMC exhibits across the power and new-energy halls. Across its three phases, which run until 4 November, the 70th-anniversary edition of the fair brings together more than 30,000 exhibiting companies and around 340,000 international buyers, with green products making up a record 26% of exhibits.

From a Compact Unit to a Full Range for Electric HGVs

The BCH-275-200 is the compact, trailer-mounted member of MPMC's BCH Series of mobile BESS chargers, which combine blade LFP battery storage and DC fast charging in a single unit. For heavier duty, the series extends to the BCH-600-400, BCH-800-600 and BCH-500-1000, delivering 400 kW to 600 kW of charging from up to 1,075 kWh of onboard storage, with two 350 A CCS2 guns to serve electric HGVs and heavy machinery side by side.

That range matters in Europe, where leading truck makers are bringing electric HGVs to market and high diesel costs are accelerating adoption. Medium and large logistics operators typically run spacious yards with room for storage and mobile charging, and they need charging that can be installed quickly and run from the grid connections they already have. BCH units are already doing exactly that in the UK, Norway and the Netherlands.

Proven With Electric Trucks in Europe

At a UK logistics port, a constrained local grid connection meant electric trucks serving four-hour port routes needed 10-hour charging cycles. Eight MPMC BCH-275-200 units, combined with solar, lifted charging capacity beyond the grid connection and moved the operation to near-continuous charging. Over the project, one BCH-275-200 delivered 3,457 kWh, energy that would otherwise have required around 976 litres of diesel in a conventional 150 kW generator, and MPMC's UK case data records CO2 savings of at least 37.5 tonnes a year for the BCH-275-200.

In Norway, a 2 MWh BCH system built from units of 500 kW and 1,000 kWh, with CCS2 charging output of 360 kW at 400 A, lets a rental construction fleet run electric machinery at a site with no grid access. In the Netherlands, a BCH-275-200 and BCH-500-1000 combination charges vehicles from renewable energy at a port and logistics site, and a 500 kW, 1,000 kWh BCH unit powers a 1 MWh grid-connected solar-storage charging station. MPMC's wider European footprint includes 8 MWh battery storage plants for frequency regulation in Hungary and the Netherlands and an 8 MWh system built from HBD-1000-2000A units delivered to Europe.

Plug-and-Play Charging Built for Logistics Fleets

Operational Within 24 Hours

Each BCH unit combines blade LFP battery storage and DC fast charging in one mobile enclosure, so it can be placed in a depot yard, connected to the existing supply and reach full operational status within 24 hours, with no grid reconstruction. The BCH-275-200 adds a plug-and-play fast output box that eliminates on-site wiring, rides on a 3.5-tonne heavy-duty trailer with forklift pockets, and can recharge from a public fast charger through its CCS2 DC input in about one hour.

More Charging Power From the Same Connection

Because the battery stores energy between sessions, BCH units deliver more charging power than they draw. The BCH-275-200 turns 80 kW of AC input into 150 kW of charging through two 250 A CCS2 guns. The BCH-600-400 and BCH-800-600 turn 280 kW of input into 400 kW and 600 kW respectively, and the BCH-500-1000 pairs 500 kW of charging with 1,075 kWh of storage. A 50-1,000 V output range covers everything from cars and vans to heavy trucks, and the BCH-800-600 adds 1C charge and discharge for rapid turnaround between shifts.

Ready for European Fleet Systems

Every BCH charging model runs an EMS with 4G connectivity and OCPP 1.6, with an open cloud-ready API and optional RFID payment, so units connect to fleet management and charge point platforms. CCS2 is standard, CCS1, GB/T and CHAdeMO are available, and MCS is listed among the series' supported standards. Units also supply AC power for depot loads, from 125 kW on the BCH-275-200 to 500 kW on the BCH-500-1000, with UPS-grade output on the two largest models.

The blade battery's sandwich structure has been tested for fire, water immersion, collision and crushing, is rated for 6,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge and holds cell temperatures within 6.7°C. BCH-275-200 and larger models carry CE-certified aerosol fire protection, a 3-year system warranty and a 5-year battery performance warranty with at least 70% capacity retention.

Where BCH Units Fit in European Operations

Across Europe, BCH units suit freight depots and logistics hubs with spacious yards, where storage and mobile chargers can sit beside truck parking and loading bays; logistics parks serving several operators; and construction sites running electric machinery away from the grid. Truck and equipment dealers can offer BCH charging alongside the electric HGVs and machines they supply, with OEM customisation and private-label arrangements available to distribution partners. For every project, MPMC provides design consultation, product configuration, factory testing, logistics and commissioning, followed by remote diagnostics through its SCADA/EMS cloud platform.

The BCH Series draws on MPMC's broader manufacturing strength. Founded in 2008, the company builds generator sets, battery storage and mobile chargers at its own bases in Jiangsu and Fujian, has delivered products to more than 120 countries and territories, and is one of the few Chinese manufacturers able to supply generation, storage and mobile charging from its own factories, all coordinated through one EMS. After the fair, MPMC's team is following up on the charging configurations and project plans discussed with visitors and welcomes enquiries from logistics operators, freight hub operators and dealers across Europe.
