Skill Buffs and Balance Overhauls

Dozens of underperforming Skill Gems will receive buffs.
The intent is to make more playstyles viable throughout the campaign and Path of Exile 2 Currency endgame.
Lightning, Bow, and Melee archetypes may get significant upgrades, as per developer hints.

QoL: XP Gains After Level 95

Currently, leveling beyond 95 is disproportionately difficult due to XP penalties and risk.
GGG plans to adjust XP scaling, making the push to Level 100 slightly more achievable.
This change addresses player burnout and helps casual players feel rewarded.

Crafting Overhaul Incoming

Though details are light, crafting will receive new options and UI improvements.
Expect less reliance on RNG-heavy crafting systems and more deterministic outcomes.

Druid Class Could Arrive

The long-awaited Druid class, teased during ExileCon and developer interviews, may finally appear in Patch 0.3.0.

Originally planned for Dawn of the Hunt, the Druid was pulled due to readiness concerns.
With the delay and growing demand, it's possible that 0.3.0 could include Druid as a new playable class.
If added, expect Nature-based elemental skills, shapeshifting, and summoning mechanics, as shown during early dev previews.

Map Size Concerns May Be Addressed

One consistent complaint in PoE 2's campaign has been the oversized maps.

Movement speed modifiers aren't enough to mitigate the drag of long-distance traversal.
GGG has acknowledged the issue and Path of Exile 2 Currency for sale hinted at possible improvements in 0.3.0.
