Crafting in Last Epoch is one of the game's standout features. Unlike other ARPGs that lean on pure randomness, this system strikes a balance: you can deliberately shape your gear, but the forging potential system keeps things exciting and forces smart decisions. Having enough Last Epoch gold can help you make wise decisions.
To succeed, you'll need to master affixes, gather shards, and learn when to use runes and glyphs. Whether you're sealing affixes with Glyphs of Despair, upgrading key stats to Tier 5, or breaking items down for shards, every step feels meaningful.
By the time you're in the deep endgame, crafting will feel less like a gamble and more like an art form-one of the many reasons Last Epoch stands out in the ARPG space.
The endgame of Last Epoch has evolved significantly, and one of the newest seasonal systems - Woven Echoes - adds both depth and rewards for dedicated players. Whether you're looking to maximize loot, power up your build, or just make your maps more fun and rewarding, understanding how woven echoes work (and how to farm them efficiently) is crucial.
This guide breaks down how the system functions, how to build your Woven Tree, and the most efficient farming strategy to stack experience, loot, and reputation all at once.
Understanding Woven Echoes and Reputation
Pressing Y opens the faction panel, where you'll see both item factions (like the Merchants Guild) and endgame factions. The new seasonal mechanic, The Woven, ties directly into the echo system.
While running echoes, you'll encounter two types of woven activities:
Cemeteries inside maps - portals that allow you to slot and run woven echoes.
Cemeteries on the overworld map - events that reward you with woven-related upgrades.
Completing these activities grants Memory Amber, the key currency for woven reputation. Spending or collecting Memory Amber increases your standing with the Woven faction. As your reputation grows, you unlock a vendor who sells woven echoes, letting you buy and run the exact ones you need.
Reading Echo Rewards
Each woven echo has an icon in its top-right corner to indicate its type:
Hammer symbol - crafting-focused echo.
Boss icon - boss-related echo.
Plus sign (+) - grants a point in your Woven Tree when completed.
There are 50 tree points total, so whenever you see a plus echo, prioritize running it immediately to expand your progression.
To activate woven echoes, complete a cemetery encounter on your timeline map (green gate icon). Once unlocked, you can place your collected echoes in buy Last Epoch gold sequence, run them, and then allocate your tree points.
