Path of Exile 2 has pretty much taken over my free time lately. I’ve clocked in well over 500 hours, tuning every detail of my Huntress build until I’m cross-eyed. The passive tree has become more of a passion project than a game mechanic. With the 0.3.1 patch in play, it’s clear GGG is paying attention to feedback. They’ve done some good work fixing loot floors and raising the ceilings, but there’s still room to make this game properly addictive. To be honest, I’ve even grabbed some PoE 2 Currency to speed up some experiments, because chasing the “perfect” setup shouldn’t mean grinding until you burn out.

Endgame Needs a Real Spark

The Atlas is decent, sure, but after the first wave of excitement it can feel like it’s missing heart. I’d love an Atlas overhaul that rewards you in ways you actually look forward to. Imagine hitting big milestones with unique loot drops—scarabs, currency tables—that have that jackpot feeling. Even a “Conqueror Vault” style event every fifty cleared maps would spice it up. And playing in groups is still messy when only the host sees Atlas progress. Shared Guild Atlases would solve that. No more Discord debates about who should host; just hit maps together and watch the bonuses stack for everyone.

Making Loot Consistently Fun

Yes, loot got buffed. But there are still those drought runs where you wonder why you even logged in. The game needs consistent high points. Boosting quantity on certain encounters and letting us craft more insane rare items could help. Those little bursts of excitement should happen often enough to keep you on edge. And while we’re talking QoL—respec costs at higher levels feel flat-out punishing. Dropping them would make testing new builds way more appealing. Oh, and please, a quick “teleport to party” button so we’re not jogging across empty zones for ten minutes each time someone dies.

Performance and Fresh Content

When the screen turns into a chaos storm of effects, you really notice the frame dips. I want the game running smooth—crisp 1440p, 120fps—no matter how ridiculous the fight gets. And more playable classes like the long-rumoured Druid would be a game changer. Replayable campaigns would keep alt characters fun instead of feeling like a chore. Trading also needs to evolve. Async trades already make life easier, but imagine being able to do that with bulk stacks without getting sniped by faster players. It’d make market play less stressful and way more efficient.

The Build Grind and Currency Shortcut

Keeping a build ready for the meta is pricey. It’s fun, but the grind for high-value currency takes time you might not want to spend. When I’ve wanted to skip the low-value slog, I’ve gone for poe2 gold buy to instantly stock up on the stuff I need for a wild new setup. Instant delivery means I can jump right into testing ideas instead of farming for weeks. With the foundation GGG has laid, a few bold tweaks could make PoE2 absolutely own the ARPG space.
