When you first drop into ARC Raiders and start worrying about loot instead of kills, you quickly learn that smart routing is what really feeds your stash, your ARC Raiders Coins, and your odds of walking out alive.
Risky Leaning Building At The Dam
On Dam Battlegrounds, do not just stare at the huge broken wall of the dam and drift around in the snow. Slide down to the area right under the shattered section and look for a half-collapsed building that is leaning to one side. It looks like the kind of place you die in, not loot, and that is exactly why a lot of players just sprint past it. Inside and around that structure you often get weapon cases, but you have to deal with the Breach & Search timer. Those few seconds feel long when you are stuck in the open, so it is worth crouching, watching angles, and maybe getting a teammate to hold overwatch while you crack the case. If it pays off, you walk away with a gun that can flip the rest of the raid.
Safe Pipeline Under The Control Tower
Once you are done with the leaning building, do not wander across the snowfield like a tourist. Cut toward the Control Tower marker and look for a big concrete pipe lying open on the ground. It is basically a tunnel, and once you crawl inside, you get way more cover than you had outside. Most people check the obvious spots near the entrance and grab the first weapon case they see against the curved wall. What they miss is the scaffolding. Take a second, shine your light, and look up, because a second case often spawns up high. It is a small climb, but pulling two solid weapons out of one pipe in under a minute is the kind of efficiency that lets you skip messy fights later and pick your engagements.
Hunting In The Spaceport Shadows
Spaceport plays very different because you are usually running it at night, with bad visibility and those harsh red lights messing with your eyes. Instead of spreading out, head straight toward the base of the Launch Tower. The ground level is cluttered with machinery, gantries, and weird corners that all look the same when you are under pressure. Hug the outer edge of the structure and move slower than you think you need to. There is a dark corner under the tower frame where a weapon case likes to spawn, and you only spot it if you are practically scraping your shoulder along the metal. Plenty of squads rush the central walkways and never see it, so if you take your time you often get a free upgrade while everyone else is busy trading shots in the open.
Balancing Guns, Meds, And Your Backpack
The other side of the Launch Tower is where you shore up your sustain. Loop around from the weapon case corner and you will usually find medical bags and ammo crates tucked between support legs or pushed up against equipment. It does not look glamorous, but grabbing heals and extra rounds here means you do not have to waste space on low-value junk earlier in the run. Because weapon cases eat up a lot of backpack slots, you are constantly doing quick math on what is worth keeping and what you dump on the floor. Most players either hoard guns and run out of meds, or overstock on consumables and end up undergunned when things get serious. If you are planning to trade or buy extra currency or gear later on sites like RSVSR, you still want clean, profitable extractions, and that comes from hitting these routes with a clear plan rather than just chasing every fight you see.
