Meanwhile, Diablo 4 players might have other things to worry about with the arrival of Season 4. This includes logging into Diablo 4 with a character that had the Diablo 4 Items most progress after the July 18 update.
A reply from one member of Diablo 4's development team is giving the game's community hope that Rebirth, a seasonal and highly-requested feature from Diablo 3, will be making a comeback in the fourth title. Given how soon Diablo 4's Season 4 is dropping, it seems players are now more inspired to let their voices be heard, and get their opinions out there, in hopes that the devs will actually do something about them.
Even though Blizzard just revealed the official date of Diablo 4's Season of the Malignant, players are already preparing themselves for the start of the event. Seasons often involve a lot of farming and grinding, especially since gamers have to start from ground zero with a brand-new character. However, many within the community have been clamoring for Diablo 3's Rebirth feature to also be implemented into Diablo 4, given how well-loved it was in the previous game.
Now that the devs have given a response to the call of the community, there is hope that the gameplay aspect may actually return.Diablo 4 Player Reveals Idea That Would Make Gathering Dungeon Loot BetterOn Twitter, Adam Fletcher, Diablo 4's Global Community Development Director, replied to Twitter user AwfulLoffel's query about whether D3's Rebirth feature will also be added into the action-RPG's first season.
According to Fletcher, Rebirth is not a feature in Diablo 4 "yet," but points out that the team acknowledges the community's want for it. For those unfamiliar with Diablo 3, Rebirth allows players to reset progress on a chosen character, making them playable during a season. Any equipment or items that players have acquired on that character are moved to a non-seasonal one instead.
It seems understandable that many players want D3's Rebirth feature to be available in Diablo 4. This will lessen the need of going through character customization all over again, especially if gamers already know what class they want to play as in every new season. However, given that Season of the Malignant is the game's maiden season, the developers may want players to dive into the event with a fresh Diablo 4 character and perspective of the game. Nevertheless, the mere acknowledgment of Rebirth by the development team seems to have made a lot of fans happy already.
Whether Diablo 3's Rebirth is added into Diablo 4 during the first season or not, there is no denying the excitement around the upcoming event. Fortunately, fans do not have to wait too long, and soon they will finally be able to play through the whole Diablo 4 Season 4 experience.
It's safe to say that Diablo 4 lived up to, if not exceeded, expectations. The game gave fans an experience worth remembering. The focus on class systems, the extensive enemy and boss designs, the replayability, and the rich and expansive end-game all make the world of Sanctuary a must-visit for gamers.
As fans wait for the seasons to D4 materials start pouring, they will be looking for games of a similar nature to keep them occupied. For those who enjoy MMORPGs, there are plenty out there that fans of Diablo 4 will enjoy. Each of these games is bound to have something to keep Diablo 4's massive player base engaged.
