Lately, the MSC has completely dominated the hype across the MLBB community.
With endless match predictions and team analyses popping up left and right, it can feel pretty overwhelming. But to be honest, for us hands-on players, the real highlight of the annual MSC Pass is always its exclusive limited-edition skin.

This year’s exclusive MSC Pass skin features Baxia, under the name Aegis of Honor. I was genuinely stunned when I first caught the teaser. Most of Baxia’s prior skins lean into a wild, rugged aesthetic built around lava and beast themes, but Aegis of Honor strikes an entirely different tone, embracing a noble, solid esports champion armor style. The gilded patterns along his shield edges pair with a battle-worn metallic finish across his entire body. When he rolls across the battlefield with his ultimate activated, he looks like a heavy battle chariot bearing the name of honor.
This edition of the MSC Pass will officially launch on July 19 and run until August 8. It costs only 719 Diamonds to obtain during the event, which is a 20% discount off the original 899 Diamond price tag. For a limited-edition skin equipped with brand-new skill effects and custom sound effects, this level of discount is fairly player-friendly.

Speaking of stocking up on Diamonds, I can’t help but chime in with a quick tip. Plenty of fellow players often ask me about the most cost-effective way to top up. Personally, I always go straight to COCODP for my Diamond purchases — it’s hassle-free, delivers lightning fast, and frequently offers extra discounts on top-ups, which ends up saving quite a bit of money.
The Aegis of Honor skin truly puts great care into its finer details. Beyond the standard skill effect recolors, what stands out the most to me is its audio feedback. When the shield of Skill 2 strikes an enemy, the dull impact sound is replaced by a metallic vibrato akin to the bell chimes of ancient arenas.

Of course, the MSC Pass offers far more value than just this one skin. This edition’s event shop features a solid lineup of items redeemable with MSC Coins, including limited avatar frames and battle emotes. For collectors, the biggest draw is the rerun of two high-quality skins: Valentina’s Dark Nexus and Atlas’s Rune Sentinel. If you missed out on them the first time around, you can redeem them directly using coins earned from the event.
If you main jungle or tank, Aegis of Honor is basically a must-have. Baxia holds solid jungle strength in the current meta, and rocking a new skin only gives you more drive to rank up. What’s more, these MSC-exclusive limited skins retain their value really well — once the event ends, you won’t get another chance like this.

If you’re still on the fence, you can wait until the skin launches and watch streamers test it out live on Poppo Live before deciding whether to pick it up. I’ve already topped up my Diamonds via COCODP and am ready to grab it the second it goes live.
After all, on the battlefields of MLBB, honor isn’t just earned through skill — sometimes, you’ve got to show it off with your shield, too.
