The easiest mistake here is treating this like a quick Discord post and then realizing your Token idea disappears at board size. The Halloween Community Token Design Contest is about making something players would actually recognize during a busy Monopoly GO session, not just something that looks great in a full-screen drawing. If you already spend time trading Monopoly Go Stickers, collecting seasonal cosmetics, and checking event rewards, this is one of the few chances to put your own style into a future Season.

Submission dates and where players need to post

Entries open on July 20, 2026, and close on July 28 at 4 PM UTC. You need to join the official Monopoly GO Discord and post your concept in the #Spooky-Community-Workshop channel with your in-game Tycoon name. Do not leave the name out; artwork without a clear account connection can become a needless headache. Use a clean image with enough contrast that people can understand the shape without zooming in.

The mood is Halloween, but that does not mean every entry needs to be another pumpkin or ghost. A cursed lantern, tiny haunted house, spellbook, candy creature, or weird elegant monster can fit just as well. Hand sketches, digital art, painted work, and mixed-media concepts are all acceptable. The stronger entries usually have one readable central idea rather than six tiny decorations fighting for attention.

How to make a Token work on the board

Monopoly GO Tokens need to sit inside the usual dome space and stand properly on the circular base. That limitation matters more than artists expect. Thin limbs, floating pieces, and very low-contrast details may look brilliant in a concept image yet become hard to read once the Token is moving around a crowded board.

1. Build around one strong silhouette before adding Halloween details.

2. Keep the base connection wide enough to look stable.

3. Use contrasting colors for the face or main feature.

4. Add rear views only when the back changes the idea.

A front-and-back concept is optional, not mandatory. Still, it helps when your design has a cape, tail, carved pattern, or another feature that explains its personality. Entries must be your own work and cannot use outside logos, recognizable copyrighted characters, or borrowed franchise imagery. Existing Monopoly GO characters may appear with their familiar proportions intact, and seasonal costumes give players plenty of room to experiment.

What finalists and winners receive

The team will choose 20 finalists based on creativity, originality, and seasonal fit. Community voting runs from July 31 through August 4, 2026, ending at 4 PM UTC. Every finalist gets 400 Dice Rolls and one 4-Star Sticker Pack, plus exposure during voting. Two Grand Winners receive 1,000 Dice Rolls, a 4-Star Sticker Pack, and a Swap Pack. Their designs also become permanent Tokens in a future Season, which is far more memorable than a short event reward.

For players who want to support the contest without drawing, save your Dice and sticker resources for your normal progression first, then enjoy the voting round without forcing trades. And if a missing set is holding up your current album plan, Monopoly Go buy Stickers can be considered carefully alongside your usual trading circle, rather than replacing smart resource planning.
