After waiting for what feels like forever, the Blood Strike × Attack on Titan Series 2 collaboration is finally on its way!

The devs held out until today to drop the official announcement, and after pulling an all-nighter reading through every detail, my immediate takeaway can be summed up in one word: generous.

The collab officially kicks off on August 1st and runs for a full month. The flagship mode, "Titan Strike," drops Titans and ODM Gear straight onto the battlefield — you can zip between buildings with your grappling hooks, pull off aerial strikes on Titans, and after clearing outposts you'll charge up enough energy to transform into the Armored Titan or the Beast Titan right there on the spot. Just picturing yourself suddenly colossal in the middle of a street fight, crushing bunkers underfoot… the sheer presence is insane.

What really caught me off guard is how generous the free rewards are. This time around, you don't need to spend a dime to get collab skins:

From August 1–31, complete missions to unlock 【KATYA – Female Titan】 directly;

During the same period, log in for 10 cumulative days and grab another one: 【Playpal – Female Titan】;

Starting August 7th, there's another mission line rewarding 【M4A1 – Battle of Faith】.

So basically, if you log in daily and knock out a few matches throughout August, two Titan skins plus a weapon skin are basically locked in. I missed the first collab and regretted it for ages — this time, I'm maxing out the daily check-ins no matter what. If you're a hoarder like me, go mark your calendar right now, don't let a single day slip.

Of course, the paid side has some real bangers too. The collab Strike Pass dropping August 1st includes 【RAN – Mikasa: Angel】 and 【Sedan – Eren: Hope】 — Mikasa fans will most likely cop it no questions asked. Also launching the same day, Attack on Titan: Featured Titan I brings 【SCAR – Levi · No Regrets · Resonance】 and 【UMP45 – New ODM Gear】; then on August 2nd, Attack on Titan Featured Titan II rounds out the lineup with 【Dual Blades – Ultrahard Blade】, 【KAG-6 – Doomsday Titan】, and 【ETHAN – Eren: Born Free】.

Honestly, the VFX on that Levi skin look pretty clean from the previews — I'm already crunching numbers on how to split my budget.
