On August 5, this old friend of ours with lightning wings will finally go live officially. To be honest, as a veteran player who has been playing since Kaja's original release, I have really mixed feelings about this revamp — but above all, I'm filled with anticipation.

The biggest change is to his ultimate. In the old version, it would firmly lock onto a single target, drag them back and secure a solo kill. Now the ultimate has been reworked into an AOE crowd control ability that can trap multiple enemies at once and pull them all to a single point.
His second skill has also been fully revamped. He can now spread his wings to take flight and phase through walls, which greatly speeds up his map traversal and gives him a noticeably faster roaming support pace.
His first skill has received a slight nerf to its early-game damage compared to the old version, so you will need to play more conservatively during the lane phase.
With back-to-back events launching recently, my Diamonds are depleting incredibly fast, and I do not want to wait around for the paltry rewards from weekly tasks. Luckily I found COCODP — the top-up speed is genuinely blazing fast. The Diamonds were already credited to my account right after I finished payment, before I even switched back to the game.

I’d say the core of this revamp lies in his complete role shift. The old Kaja played more like an assassin-style support — you’d roam across the map hunting for isolated squishy targets, yank them back and build tempo off every single pick. Now he has become a genuine team fight initiator, where engagement timing and positioning matter far more than they used to.
I’ve also seen many veteran players in the community complaining that his signature single-target pick playstyle is gone, and that Kaja has lost his soul. Personally, I think he now has a much higher skill ceiling — players just need to re-conceptualize how to play this hero. The wall-phasing terrain traversal mechanic is incredibly flexible. Paired with the movement speed from his passive and his AoE basic attacks, his kiting ability is leaps and bounds stronger than before.
Of course, misplays are inevitable when adapting to a revamped hero, but this process of trial and refinement is exactly what makes MOBA games so enjoyable. The sense of accomplishment from pulling off every successful team fight initiation makes me believe this hero is well worth continuing to practice and master.

Overall, this Kaja revamp is a bold undertaking. While it’s somewhat regrettable to leave his classic playstyle behind, the new mechanics have truly elevated this hero’s teamfight impact to an entirely new level.
If you’re still on the fence about picking him up, my advice is to try him out in Training Camp first to get a feel for his kit, and experience the brand-new gameplay delivered by his wall-phasing mobility and AOE crowd control. If you’re running low on Diamonds, remember to useCOCODP — don’t let resources slow down your progress.
See you on the battlefield on August 5. I hope you’ll pull off some brilliant team fight initiations with the new Kaja.
