Fragmented Logs looks simple on paper, but once you're boots-on-ground in Stella Montis, it turns into one of those jobs that punishes every lazy decision. If you're sorting your loadout before the drop, don't ignore the basics like healing, mobility, and an ARC Raiders Items plan, because this mission starts with a hard requirement: an Electrical Component. You can loot one if luck's on your side, sure, but most players are better off crafting it in Speranza and locking it into a Safe Pocket. That one choice saves a lot of frustration. Lose it on the way in, and you're not adapting, you're just repeating the same setup again.

Start at the Sandbox

The first objective sends you to the Robotic Sandbox control rooms, and this is where people often overcomplicate things. You don't need a dramatic push. You need patience. Since the area has both A and B control rooms, your route can change depending on spawn, which is honestly a nice break from the usual forced pathing. Once you reach the dead terminal, install the Electrical Component and let the system come back online. That part is quick. Staying alive on the way there is the real issue. ARC units drift through the area often, and if another squad hears shots nearby, the whole place can turn messy fast.

Restore the Nearby Power

After that, move out toward the conduit backroom just beyond the Sandbox. It's not far, but it can feel longer than it should because of how awkward the space is. Tight hallways, machinery in the way, bad angles everywhere. You flip the switch, power comes back, job done. At least in theory. In practice, this stretch is where players get trapped by patrol timing. If you rush in without checking movement, you can end up boxed inside a utility room with nowhere clean to rotate. A lot of successful runs here come down to slowing down for ten seconds instead of sprinting for two.

Make the Push to Cultural Archives

The third step is the one that really tests you. Head east into the Cultural Archives and find the service backroom tied to the main data system. This zone is busy almost every match. Heavy ARC presence, players cutting through, random pressure from more than one angle. You can't treat it like a normal loot stop. Wait for openings. Listen before you commit. Once you're on the terminal, finish the interaction and the restoration sequence is complete. The awkward part is that you're usually most exposed right when you think you're safe, so don't let your guard drop just because the prompt appears.

Why the Mission Is Worth Doing

Shani rewards you with three Showstoppers and three Trailblazers, and that's solid value for a quest that mostly asks for map awareness instead of raw firepower. More than that, Fragmented Logs teaches Stella Montis in a way firefights never really do. You learn where the dead space is, where patrols tend to pinch, and which rooms are worth avoiding altogether. That knowledge sticks. Even better, your quest progress doesn't depend on extraction, which takes some pressure off if the raid goes sideways. Still, gearing smart helps, and plenty of players like to prep with cheap ARC Raiders Items before attempting longer objective runs, especially in areas where one mistake can burn several minutes at once.
